The Mindful Path
A Journey Through ADHD with Meditation
Thursdays 7-8 pm CST
June and September 2024
I have heard so many times “I’m ADD I can’t meditate”. I am here to show you the way to your own form of meditation, experientially. I was diagnosed with ADHD in the late-1990’s and I have been practicing mindfulness meditation ever since. It has been a beautiful path to discover the power of my neurology. I firmly believe that ADHD is a gift that just needs to be harnessed, and this class is designed especially for all those who identify as attention challenged adults. (Course dates are listed below)

Class 1 - Mindfulness
In this class we will dive into what is mindfulness and how does it benefit our neurodivergence. I will guide you through several shortish meditations to get a taste of where we are headed.
Class 2 - Racing Thoughts
Racing thoughts are a common occurence that create a sense of overwhelm. This class is all about how to handle racing thoughts and to help you takeaway practices you can use to start to tame them.
Class 3 - Self Kindess
So often we think because we are attention challenged there is something wrong with us and we beat ourselves up. Being kind to ourselves is a practice that we can do to help reduce these feelings and help us gain self-esteem.
Class 4 - Overwhelm
The feeling of overwhelm is one of the strongest feelings felt by the barrage of thoughts created by the ADD/ADHD neurology. This class will focus on feelings and how to handle them when we are feeling overwhelmed.
